Doctor of Physical Therapy

Christa Wille, Class of 2015, was awarded an APTA Mary McMillan award! This is a very competitive and prestigious award!
“The intent of the award is to recognize those students who exhibit superior scholastic ability and potential for future professional contribution. Awards are made on a competitive basis. Recipients will be selected on the basis of the following criteria: superior scholastic performance, past productivity, evidence of potential contribution to physical therapy, and service to the American Physical Therapy Association".  - APTA
 
Thank you for your interest in the UW-Madison Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. The DPT Program is three years in length and emphasizes classroom and clinical learning experiences. Full-time clinical practicums are interspersed between academic terms, and four full-time eight-week clinical internships follow the didactic portion of the program.
