We participate in the Physical Therapy Centralized Application Service (PTCAS).
We do not have an interview process. All aspects of your application materials are considered with non-academic factors being highly valued. Evidence of uniqueness of background and diversity of life experiences are strongly encouraged.
The rigor of your undergraduate education is a factor of your academic profile.
Applications for the DPT program that begins June, 2014 will be accepted from PTCAS 2013-2014 between July 1 and November 1, 2013.
- Completed applications received by the PTCAS Early Decision deadline (August 15 , 2013) will be notified of their admission decision by the end of September, 2013.
- Completed applications received by November 1, 2013 will be notified of their admission decision by the end of December, 2013. We do not have rolling admissions; all applications complete by November 1 will be fully considered. However, you are encouraged to submit your materials to PTCAS as early as possible. This will help ensure that your application is complete by the deadline.
The Early Decision deadline will be used to select a limited number of highly qualified applicants. Most students will be selected from the November 1 applicant pool.
The UW-Madison DPT Program complies with all federal and state laws and University policies
including Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity.
