Musculoskeletal Medicine

The Rehabilitation Medicine physicians are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. We also train pain fellows, residents, medical students, and allied health professionals using our knowledge of evidence-based medicine. Our role is to establish protocols and standards of practice for our patients, and to be a model for our students.

 

Musculoskeletal pain is dynamic. Health care providers need to be aware of the stages of recovery a patient is experiencing. Our goal in physical medicine and rehabilitation is to optimize functional recovery and educate and support patients as they heal.
