Orthopedics Education Programs

The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation offers fourth-year electives in orthopedic surgery to visiting medical students during the months of July through November. (Course number 936-939 – Adult Orthopedics for Future Ortho Clerkship.) Students find this a great opportunity to evaluate the program. These four-week rotations are approved and competitively arranged by the Department.

  • Medical Student Transcripts
  • Current CV
  • USMLE 1 Score
APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 28, 2017
 
Following approval from the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation the applicant will need to complete the application process outlined at UW School of Medicine and Public Health Visiting Students Page . Upon completion of these criteria you will be allowed to formally apply and be approved as a visiting student at the School of Medicine and Public Health and Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation.
