Research

The sports medicine fellow is required to participate in clinical or laboratory research, completing at least one project for publication by the end of the fellowship. The fellow can select research projects that interest him or her. Protected time is built into the schedule throughout the year.  The fellow will present his or her research at the annual Research Forum.

Support

The fellow will receive support from the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation in order to meet the research and publication requirements. The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation provides overall editorial and statistical support, as well as financial support through the Department’s Research and Development Fund.
