1 S. Park

The 1 S. Park Street Clinic is located in Madison. There is a full-service orthopedic clinic providing foot and ankle, hand and upper extremity, joint reconstruction and replacement, orthopedic spine, and radiology services. 

Other specialties and services at this clinic include the Madison Surgery Center, Radiology and Mammography, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology and Otolaryngology.

American Family Children’s Hospital

American Family Children’s Hospital is a comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center featuring nationally recognized pediatric specialists in a wide range of fields, including faculty from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and UW Health. Named for a generous gift from American Family Insurance and located in Madison, Wisconsin, the state-of-the-art facility wins widespread praise for its expert care.

Providers at the American Family Children’s Hospital provide treatment and care for a broad variety of congenital, developmental and traumatic disorders affecting bones, soft tissues, joints and the neuromuscular system. They provide surgical and non-surgical treatment for conditions such as scoliosis, club foot, leg length differences, fractures, and cerebral palsy. They also offer a multidisciplinary approach for the treatment and prevention of sports injuries.

East Madison Hospital

East Madison Hospital is a state-of-the-art hospital and clinic providing outpatient and short-term inpatient services for sports medicine, hand, spine, arthroplasty and foot & ankle conditions on the east side of Madison.

Since it opened in August 2015, it has become the primary hub for the Sports Medicine Division. As a predominantly orthopedic hospital, this facility includes extensive physical and occupational therapy services and a large sports performance and wellness wing. An indoor basketball court, turf field and elevated track provide space for performance and rehabilitation training, testing and instruction. Nearly all sports medicine surgical procedures are performed at this location and a large outpatient clinic wing provides space for sports medicine providers and all other orthopedic surgical subspecialties. A full complement of adjunct services are available at the American Center.

Rehabilitation Clinic, Middleton

The UW Health Rehabilitation Clinic in Middleton offers the following rehabilitative services:

Research Park

Research Park (RP) is an 84,000 square foot outpatient facility on the west side of Madison. It was home to the UW Sports Medicine program for 25 years, and now operates as the program’s west side presence. It houses a large fitness center/gym, radiology services, sports medicine physical therapy and both exercise physiology and sports performance labs. There is clinic space for sports medicine providers, all of whom see patients at this site once weekly. In addition, the outpatient Pediatric Orthopedic clinic, Spine and Rehabilitation clinic and a duplicate of all ancillary services available at The American Center are provided at this location.

University Hospital

University Hospital is a 505-bed regional referral center that is home to a Level One adult and pediatric orthopedic trauma center as well as an Orthopedic Oncology Clinic. It also houses the American College of Surgeons-verified Burn Center, one of the nation’s largest organ transplant programs, one of the nation’s first certified comprehensive stroke centers and the UW Carbone Cancer Center, one of 41 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive centers in the country.

Waisman Center, Madison

The Waisman Center Clinics, in partnership with UW Health and American Family Children’s Hospital, provide comprehensive clinical care and support for children with disabilities and their families and is home to the Cerebral Palsy Clinic.

The Cerebral Palsy Clinic’s interdisciplinary team of professionals works together to address the complex needs of children with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions that affect motor development. Children and their families receive a comprehensive evaluation with follow-up care and re-evaluation by the core interdisciplinary staff from rehabilitation medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and nursing.
