Cody grew up playing multiple sports and continues to play hockey on the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s men’s hockey team. As a high-level athlete, Cody recognized the importance of the mind and its training in athletic performance. This connection inspired him to earn his BS in Psychology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing an MS in Exercise Psychology under the direction of Dr. Andrew Watson.

A long-time meditator, Cody is researching how remote delivery of mindfulness (via an app) influences recovery from ACL reconstruction surgery.
