Scott Anderson is a Kinesiologist, Educator, and Meditator. His interests intersect in his work as a practitioner, teacher, and researcher who explores the interface of physical activity and meditation.
Scott began meditating as a teenager, initially to improve his athletic performance. After completing his Division I athletic career, he fully immersed himself in biking, skiing, yoga, and meditation. In the intervening years, he completed a Ph.D. in Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Watson. He is also a collaborator at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Center for Healthy Minds, a Senior Facilitator in the Tergar Meditation Community, and co-owner of Spring – Resilient Fitness.
