Summary

Dr. Bellaire is a fellowship trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeon. She specializes in general pediatric orthopaedic care and pediatric spinal deformity. She is committed to getting to know her patients and their families so she can provide personalized operative and non-operative treatment options.

Dr. Bellaire received her undergraduate degree from Yale University where she was honored with Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude distinctions. She then attended medical school and orthopaedic surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA where she was awarded the James B. Whitehead Surgery Scholarship and two consecutive Kelly Society Excellence in Resident Research awards. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT.

Dr. Bellaire’s research has largely focused on perioperative optimization of patients undergoing scoliosis surgery and clinical outcomes and complications following spinal fusion. She has conducted studies at institutions across the country in conjunction with the Growing Spine Study Group and the Children’s Spine Study Group, and she is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. She is thrilled to join the faculty at UW in providing care to the region’s pediatric population.
