Program Overview
The University of Wisconsin Spine Surgery Fellowship offers an intense experience in all aspects of spinal surgery. University Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center with a significant amount of operative spinal trauma. We also offer an emphasis on degenerative spinal pathology including microsurgery, minimally invasive surgery, anterior approaches, and spinal deformity. Fellows participate in approximately 400 surgical procedures during the year and interface with our residents in an educational program. We encourage fellows to attend two national spine meetings throughout the year and offer the chance to perform basic and clinical research.
The Spine Surgery Fellowship Program accepts 2 fellows each year.
