To be considered for the program, please make sure all of the following materials reach our offices by September 29, 2024, through Electronic Residency Application Service.
- Personal statement
- Residency application
- Min 3 letters of recommendation (CORD eSLOR preferred), max of 4 LORs
- Medical school transcript (MSPE)
- Pass USMLE Step 1 (1st attempt and provide USMLE Step 1 score if available)
- Pass USMLE Step 2 (1st attempt and provide USMLE Step 2 score)
- Meet UW Health GME employment eligibility requirements
- Non-U.S. citizen eligibility requirements for UW Health GME
- Only J-1 visa sponsorship available (if visa sponsorship is required)

Join us for our Orthopedic Surgery Residency Open House. Learn more about our program, meet our program directors, and talk to current residents. Will include a live Q&A.

The program will participate in the AOA Council of Orthopaedic Residency Directors (CORD) Universal Interview Offer Day for the 2024-2025 Orthopaedic Residency Match process on November 13, 2023.

For in-person interviews, candidates should arrive by 2:15 PM CT. Interviews and a social dinner will run through that evening. There are no other events the day before or after.
