To be considered for the program, please make sure all of the following materials reach our offices by the 2026 application deadline on 9/30/2026, through Electronic Residency Application Service.

• Personal statement
• Residency application
• Min 3 letters of recommendation (CORD eSLOR preferred), max of 4 LORs
• Medical school transcript (MSPE)
• Pass USMLE Step 1 (1st attempt and provide USMLE Step 1 score if available)
• Pass USMLE Step 2 (1st attempt and provide USMLE Step 2 score)
• Meet UW Health GME employment eligibility requirements
  • Non-U.S. citizen eligibility requirements for UW Health GME
  • Only J-1 visa sponsorship available (if visa sponsorship is required)

The program will participate in the AOA Council of Orthopaedic Residency Directors (CORD) Universal Interview Offer Day for the Orthopaedic Residency Match.

2026-2027 Interview Dates and Times

• December 4, 2026 | 1:30 to 6:30 pm CT
  Candidate social event to follow.
• December 5, 2026 | 7:30 am to 12:30 pm CT

  Candidate social event will be held the evening of December 4.
• January 11, 2027 | 1:30 to 6:30 pm CT

  Candidate social event to follow.

Arrival: Candidates should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled interview start time.

Social Events: Candidates interviewing on December 4 and 5 are invited to a social event on the evening of December 4. Candidates interviewing on January 11 are invited to a social event that evening. No other events are scheduled other than the interview and social events listed above.
