The fellow assists the UW primary care team physicians in providing care for approximately 900 University of Wisconsin varsity athletes. The fellow has one half-day per week clinic in the McClain Center Athletic Training Room, providing medical care for the student-athletes, conducting pre-participation physical evaluations of the athletes, and participating in athletic event coverage.
The fellow will serve as a team physician for a local high school, providing coverage for all home football games and other sports as needed or desired during the year. The fellow also serves as co-director of the annual Madison Half-Marathon race.
